Demaryius Thomas, WR, Denver Broncos
10 Receptions, 126 Yards, 16 Targets
Performance: 96, NEP: +12.96
The Broncos were down early in this game against the Tennessee Titans, and Trevor Siemian was forced to pass 51 times as the Broncos tried everything they could to get back into this one. Thomas was the main beneficiary of Siemian's volume, seeing 16 targets this week to lead the team. He hauled in 10 of those 16 targets for 126 yards, leading all receivers in our Performance rating.
Thomas was a chain mover in this game, converting 8 of his 10 receptions for first downs. Thomas' biggest statistical play came on a 34-yard deep shot down the right side line, but his biggest play per our metrics came on a pivotal 3rd-and-14. Thomas was able to settle into a open spot in Tennessee's zone, and Siemian fired a pass short of the sticks that Thomas was able to advance inside the Titans' five-yard line. He added +2.75 to his NEP on that play alone, and he now currently ranks 13th among all receivers in Reception NEP.
Thomas finished as the WR4 in PPR scoring, slightly behind this week's fantasy leader, teammate Emmanuel Sanders. Thomas has three weeks as a top-12 fantasy receiver this season.
