With Philip Rivers' three interceptions in Week 14, he has now thrown two or more interceptions in five games this season.
He has thrown a total of 10 interceptions over the past four weeks alone. Only 11 other quarterbacks have thrown more than 10 interceptions all season.
His 17 interceptions thrown this season are two more Blake Bortles, who has thrown at least one interception in nine of 13 games this season. Averaging 1.31 interceptions per game this season, Rivers is on pace for 20.92 interceptions over a full 16-game season. That would surpass his previous career high of 20, which he set back in 2011.
Next up, he will face the Oakland Raiders, who have intercepted each of the past five quarterbacks they have faced at least once. In their first meeting this season, the Raiders picked off Rivers twice.
