Tyler Lockett saw his first start of the season against the Los Angeles Rams and did not disappoint, catching 7 of 8 targets for 130 yards and a touchdown. His 38 offensive snaps trailed Doug Baldwin by just five snaps for the team-lead among receivers, while his eight targets led the Seattle Seahawks.
Week 15 also marked his fourth straight game with at least six targets. Over his past three, he has averaged 108 combined rushing and receiving yards, along with 20.1 PPR points.
In Week 16, Lockett will take on an Arizona Cardinals defense fresh off allowing Brandin Cooks, who profiles similarly to Lockett from a skill-set perspective, to pile up 186 yards and 2 scores. Unless we hear word that he will be shadowed by Patrick Peterson, Lockett should be near the top of your priority list when making waiver claims. Not many receivers on the waiver wire offer his upside.
