The 6 Best NFL Passing Seasons Since 2000
A changing of the guard among elite NFL quarterbacks is inevitable. That doesn't diminish the greatness of this era's passers, though.

6. Tom Brady, New England Patriots (2011)

Pass NEP: 213.43

Tom Brady has enjoyed quite a few great seasons over the course of his 17-year career. Two of them have resulted in MVP awards, while four have produced Super Bowl wins. But, in only one season did the 11-time Pro Bowler amass more than 5,000 yards through the air.

In 2011, Brady didn't win an MVP or the Super Bowl, but he did complete 65.6% of his passes while throwing for 39 touchdowns. He led his New England Patriots to a 13-3 record, ending the season with a Super Bowl loss to the New York Giants.
