8 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 16

Justin Forsett, RB, Denver Broncos

Justin Forsett appears to be overtaking Devontae Booker for the lead back role for the Denver Broncos.

The week he was signed, stepping into the lineup with less than a week to prepare, Forsett played 42% of the Broncos' offensive snaps while Booker played 43%. Last week, Forsett played 55% of the snaps compared to 45% for Booker. Booker has only 9 carries and 6 targets over those two games, while Forsett has 16 carries and 8 targets.

Forsett doesn't draw a great matchup this week against the Kansas City Chiefs, who our metrics have ranking above-average against the run, but Forsett's passing game usage makes him valuable here anyway. Nearly 25% of the Broncos' passing targets went to running backs against a team with solid run defense in the New England Patriots last week, and Forsett should see some solid usage this week regardless of how the game goes, giving him an especially strong floor in point-per-reception (PPR) leagues.
