Tyreek Hill has made several highlight-reel splash plays this year, but the return of Jeremy Maclin two games ago has lessened his role in the Kansas City Chiefs' offense.
Over the two games since Maclin has returned to the field, Hill has played just 49% of the snaps. In the four games Maclin was out, Hill had played at least 60% of the snaps three times, including 68% in two games. Without Maclin, Hill was targeted 8.5 times per game, but he's seen just 6 and 3 targets, respectively, in the last two games.
With that kind of volume, Hill has to make one of his signature big plays to have a productive day. He's been able to buck the odds and do just that in each of the past two games, but eventually his lack of involvement will hinder his fantasy production.
On top of all that, the Chiefs have a meager implied total of 20.25 points for their home matchup with the Denver Broncos. The game features the lowest over/under of the week (37.5), two points less than the disaster that will be the Niners-Rams showdown. Weather, specifically wind, is also expected to be a factor as the forecast calls for winds of 16 miles per hour.
