High-Cost Option: Seattle Seahawks ($3,700)
The Seattle D/ST is in arguably the best spot this week taking on a 49ers squad that has allowed the 11th-most fantasy points to opposing defense/special teams units. The 49ers have given up the third-most fumbles this year and after placing Carlos Hyde on IR, could cough up the ball some more with backups playing. Seattle ranks fifth in sacks this year and should present quite the challenge for Colin Kaepernick behind San Francisco's shaky offensive line.
Mid-Cost Option: Buffalo Bills ($3,400)
The Buffalo D/ST may be without its former head coach and defensive coordinator after the Bills decided to fire the Ryan brothers, but this unit is too good to let that be a reason to fade them. They will be taking on Ryan Fitzpatrick (17 interceptions in 13 games) and the Jets, a team that leads the league in giveaways and have allowed the 10th-most quarterback hits this season. The Bills have the second-most sacks on the season and should have little difficulty applying pressure to whomever the Jets line up under center.
Low-Cost Option: Philadelphia Eagles ($2,900)
With the Cowboys having little to play for this week, we could see the starters out for just a few series before they turn to the backups. That could make the Philadelphia D/ST a sneaky tournament play against soft competition. The Eagles rank in the top 10 in turnovers and have averaged 10 fantasy points per game over their last three.
Other Options: Tampa Bay D/ST ($3,100)
