Ranking the Quarterbacks Remaining in the NFL Playoffs
Which quarterback has been the best this season based on the advanced analytics?

4. Tom Brady, New England Patriots

Total NEP: 161.95

This seems like a good time to remind everyone that Total NEP is cumulative and doesn't do Tom Brady any favors for dropping back to pass just 447 times this season.

To help even the playing field, though, Brady averaged 0.35 Passing NEP per drop back on those attempts, second-best among passers with at least 200 drop backs. Nobody else was above 0.29 on that level of volume.

Brady was also sixth in Success Rate at 51.45%, and from a passing efficiency standpoint, only the top-ranked quarterback on this list has him beat in per-play Passing NEP and Success Rate.
