Ranking the Quarterbacks Remaining in the NFL Playoffs
Which quarterback has been the best this season based on the advanced analytics?

6. Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks

Total NEP: 91.10

Last season, Russell Wilson racked up a career-best 160.25 Passing NEP on 528 drop backs (0.30 per drop back). He was super efficient down the stretch with Doug Baldwin, but that didn't really manifest itself this year, as the Seattle Seahawks' passer was held back by injuries and a shaky offensive line.

Still, Wilson posted an 83.83 Passing NEP on 587 drop backs, the most drop backs he's had in a season in his career. His Passing NEP was roughly half as many as he posted last season but an improvement on his totals from 2012 to 2014: 84.01, 74.66, 47.65.

He didn't do much on the ground with just 3.99 Rushing NEP, but Wilson -- despite the modest season overall, mobility issues, and protection concerns -- was top 10 in Success Rate (49.74%).
