22. Thurman Thomas, Buffalo Bills (1992)

In a season where the Buffalo Bills appeared in the Super Bowl, Thurman Thomas also posted an AV of 19. He averaged 4.77 yards per rush as he amassed 1,487 yards on the season.

Including three receiving touchdowns and 626 yards through the passing game, Thomas totaled 12 touchdowns and 2,113 yards from scrimmage for the 11-5 Bills. He was voted to the Pro Bowl and named First-Team All-Pro in his fifth NFL season.
