All 32 teams have holes going into this offseason. Which are the most glaring?

Carolina Panthers

Top Needs: RB, IOL, OT, DE, CB

The Carolina Panthers went from Super Bowl sensation in 2015 to total mess, as the entire offense floundered. Running back Jonathan Stewart led a bottom-quarter backfield by Total NEP per play, is in his twilight years, and has never been able to stay healthy. That said, the passing game also stunk up the joint.

Both phases of the offense were so out of whack because the offensive line gave no push to runners (21st in Rushing Success Rate) and never gave quarterback Cam Newton time to throw (24th in Sack NEP allowed).

Defensive end Charles Johnson is a shell of his former self, and preseason top cornerback Bene Benwikere was cut a few weeks into the season. The rookie cornerback unit featuring Daryl Worley and James Bradberry -- while performing admirably -- needs reinforcements. Despite these flaws, Carolina was top-10 in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play.
