The 25 Best NFL Wide Receiver Seasons in the Last 25 Years
Over the last quarter century, which pass-catchers have produced the best single-season performances?

16. Chad Johnson, Cincinnati Bengals (2005)

If you want to talk about receivers with flair, you've come to the right place. After Irvin, it's only right that Chad Johnson and his 2005 season make the list. Sporting a flashy game, Johnson caught 97 of 155 targets for a catch rate of 62.6% and 1,432 receiving yards.

He also tallied 9 touchdowns along with an AV of 18 -- the best of his career. And for his efforts, Johnson was voted to the Pro Bowl in addition to the league's All-Pro First Team.
