The 25 Best NFL Wide Receiver Seasons in the Last 25 Years
Over the last quarter century, which pass-catchers have produced the best single-season performances?

18. Randy Moss, Minnesota Vikings (1998)

Hitting reverse all the way back to Moss' rookie season, it just so happens that it was the very best during his time with Minnesota. Though he totaled only 69 catches at a fairly poor catch rate of 55.6%, he amassed 10.59 yards per target on 124 targets.

Once again, Moss' big-play ability was on display, catching 17 balls for scores and averaging over 19 yards per catch. The end-of-season outcomes were the same -- a 17 AV, a Pro Bowl appearance and an All-Pro selection. The only thing that makes this season any different is it was a year of firsts in his long and fruitful NFL career.
