The 59 Best Individual NFL Seasons in the Last 25 Years
Across all positions, who owns the single best season of them all?

LaDainian Tomlinson, San Diego Chargers (2006)

Just seven years later, LaDainian Tomlinson had himself a season for the ages.

LT ran for a career-high 1,815 yards and 28 touchdowns, winning the rushing title in the process. But it was his capability to run and catch that made him so dangerous. He caught 56 balls for 508 yards and 3 more scores, to make it 31 for the season.

His Chargers won 14 games and Tomlinson walked away from a career year with an AV of 26, the best value ever recorded. That's not it, though -- that same year, LT swept the MVP, Offensive Player of the Year and Walter Payton Man of the Year awards.
