Terrance West began the season as the Baltimore Ravens' lead back, but he struggled with consistency. West logged just a single 100-yard outing despite averaging 14.6 rush attempts over his first nine games.

Baltimore threw the ball 66.0 percent of the time, more than any other team in the NFL, and they simply couldn't seem to get the backfield into a groove. Baltimore made a change at offensive coordinator after Week 5, and West began losing snaps to rookie Kenneth Dixon, who had worked his way back from a preseason knee injury.

West’s workload diminished to an average of 8.7 carries per game over Baltimore’s last seven contests, and Dixon actually led the team in rush attempts and rushing yards over the final five games. If you targeted West as a zero-running-back guy in fantasy drafts, you were probably just fine, but he had his share of letdowns.
