Recapping All 32 NFL Draft Classes from 2017
Now that the dust has settled, let's dissect the draft haul for each team.

Miami Dolphins

Needs Entering Draft: DE, DT, ILB, OLB
Positions Drafted: WR, IOL, DE, DT, ILB, CB

Charles Harris is the kind of player the Miami Dolphins hoped to get at this point in the draft. A speed-rusher like the veterans he’s replacing, Harris is inconsistent right now but can grow into a true three-down defensive end role. Inside linebacker Raekwon McMillan doesn’t need to start at middle this year with Lawrence Timmons in the fold, but that’s a good thing; he can develop his reading and reactions even more until 2018. Cordrea Tankersley is dripping with athleticism, and he could develop into a top-tier corner alongside Xavien Howard from last year’s class. Late-round defensive tackles Davon Godchaux and Vincent Taylor were great values to find someone to complement Ndamukong Suh on the defensive interior.

Isaiah Ford was a total value swipe in the middle of the seventh round, but he’s not going to see the field for a while with the wideout depth on this team. Guard Isaac Asiata was a strong fifth-round selection, and while the interior line held up in 2016, his addition is a benefit for sure.
