There’s an old fantasy sports adage that says, “You can’t win your draft in the first round, but you sure can lose it.” While we might not know if NFL teams “won” their drafts until a few years down the road, franchises can definitely improve their rosters dramatically in the short-term.

That kind of major overhaul can threaten the roster spots of veterans and fringe players, but some current players that started the draft process in limbo came out of the mayhem of that weekend unscathed.
