The last of his dominant triumvirate of seasons, 1997 was marked by another MVP and All-Pro bid. Favre certainly earned it, throwing for 3,867 yards, 35 touchdowns and a rating of 92.6 in 16 starts.

As for the Packers, they made it two straight seasons with a 13-3 record and a playoff appearance. But, even with peak Favre, they failed to get past John Elway and Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XXXII.
