Due to a midseason trade, Rice split his 20th and final NFL season between the Oakland Raiders and Seattle Seahawks.

In his time with the Raiders, the 42-year-old hauled in just 33.3% of targets for a total of five catches and 67 yards in six games. But after the change in scenery, Rice improved his catch rate to 51% for 25 catches, 362 yards and 3 touchdowns. In 11 games as a Seahawk, earning an approximate value of 3, compared to just 1 as a Raider.
