Because literally everyone in your standard fantasy football league is going to have a competent starting quarterback this year -- freaking Dak Prescott is currently QB14 according to FantasyFootballCalculator.com, while Tyrod Taylor, who's finished as a top-eight quarterback in points per game in each of the last two seasons, is QB17 -- you can get away with waiting on the position during your draft.
For more reasons than just that one, too.
And, really, you can easily enter the draft with the intent to stream the position. Rather than select a signal-caller you're looking to start each and every week, you can hit the waiver wire throughout the season and find worthwhile quarterbacks in plus matchups to use. It's sort of like when you find an authentic jersey at a T.J. Maxx.
If that's the case -- if you're looking to stream from the start -- then your goal shouldn't be to just look for quarterbacks who have positive season-long outlooks. Instead, you want passers with soft early-season schedules to maximize your weekly output.
Let's take a look at three of them.
