5 Players With Favorable Fantasy Football Playoff Schedules
It's never too early to start looking at the playoffs. These players have optimal matchups when it matters most.

Tennessee Titans D/ST

Streaming defenses is a commonly accepted fantasy strategy. That being said, keep the Tennessee D/ST in mind for a late-season pick-up.

In Weeks 15 and 16, the Titans face the 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams. Last year, those offenses were offensive -- and not in a good way.

TeamYards Per GameNFL RankPoints Per GameNFL Rank
49ers308.131st19.327th
Rams262.732nd14.032nd

Further, the 49ers ranked 28th in Adjusted NEP per play in 2016, and the Rams were 32nd.

Starting a defense in the playoffs that will face Brian Hoyer and Jared Goff -- should they last until then as starters -- sounds pretty tantalizing.

numberFire's Brandon Gdula covered strength of schedule for all 32 teams for the 2017 season. Using our metrics for opposing offenses, he found that the Titans have the second-easiest schedule.

We project the Titans to finish 21st among defenses this season. But when it comes to streaming, you play the matchups. As of now, there is no defense with a better set of matchups during the fantasy playoffs.
