7 High-Ceiling Players to Target in Your Fantasy Football Draft
The numbers tell us that Dez Bryant can bring his game to an even higher level. Who else is poised for fantasy goodness?

2. Sammy Watkins, WR, Buffalo Bills

Ceiling Rank: 62; Actual Rank: 72

Ceiling Projection: 179.08 FP; Actual Projection: 143.13 FP

The former Clemson star is yet another guy carrying risk into this season. He played just eight games a year ago and is returning from offseason foot surgery, although things do appear to be trending in the right direction.

Watkins avoided the Bills' PUP list heading into training camp and has made it known that he wants to be with the team for the long term. That should be motivation enough to stay healthy and produce at a high level in his fourth NFL season -- and we see that translating to the fantasy realm as well.

While Watkins' ADP of 3.09 (34th overall and 16th among receivers) might be a little too high for our liking, numberFire's algorithms have him listed at WR18, with projections of 65 catches, 988 yards and 7.4 touchdowns. On the high end, though, 179 fantasy points would make Watkins WR12 and a back-end WR1 at the cost of a middle-of-the-road WR2.
