7 High-Ceiling Players to Target in Your Fantasy Football Draft
The numbers tell us that Dez Bryant can bring his game to an even higher level. Who else is poised for fantasy goodness?

5. Tyler Eifert, TE, Cincinnati Bengals

Ceiling Rank: 77; Actual Rank: 83

Ceiling Projection: 160.92 FP; Actual Projection: 130.74 FP

First things first, Tyler Eifert is expected to be a training camp participant sooner rather than later. So for the Cincinnati Bengals, fantasy owners, and potential fantasy owners alike, that's great news -- when healthy, Eifert is a beast of a TE1 no matter the format.

Eifert's health and potential are both reflected in his average draft position today. As the 75th player and 6th tight end off the board in most drafts, he is going with pick 7.01 in standard leagues, which sounds about right.

Why do I say that? Because that's where Eifert's ceiling warrants a selection. For his baseline projection, numberFire's models have the fifth-year tight end down for 58 catches, 878 yards and 7.3 touchdowns in 2017. As we saw in 2015, though, Eifert has the skills to score double-digit touchdowns with even fewer receptions and targets. The question is whether he'll get those opportunities with Joe Mixon and Giovani Bernard coming out of the backfield. That's just the risk you have to take if you want to reap the rewards.
