Best Pick: Devonta Freeman
Let's keep this ATLiens theme going.
Running back Devonta Freeman fell to the second round even though our draft rankings have him tabbed as the fifth-best player in fantasy for 2017. While there are valid reasons to believe Freeman may be overvalued, getting him sixth among running backs and in the second round is a good deal. Freeman has finished the last two seasons as the RB6 (2016) and RB1 (2015), and our algorithm projects Freeman to have a similar season to what he did last year.
Freeman gets the luxury of facing the New Orleans Saints defense in Weeks 14 and 16 during the fantasy playoffs -- one of the easiest schedules in the playoffs among running backs. He also has a very easy schedule to begin the season.
