Best Pick: Ty Montgomery

Formerly known as a wide receiver, Ty Montgomery quickly transitioned to the running back position in 2016. He was drafted at RB17 in our mock draft, but showed signs of top-12 upside in 2016.

Montgomery is one of the most undervalued players in fantasy football, as we noted earlier this summer:

In 2016, Ty Montgomery saw at least 40% of Green Bay's snaps in 9 of his 15 games played. In those games, he averaged 7.89 carries, 49.56 rushing yards, 0.33 rushing touchdowns, 5.78 targets, 4.44 receptions, and 36.11 receiving yards per contest. In PPR formats, that's roughly 15 fantasy points per outing. That would've made him a top-10 running back last year.

Montgomery also easily outperformed his Packers teammates Eddie Lacy and James Starks in 2016.

For 2017, Montgomery is projected to have the 10th-easiest schedule among running backs. After Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks, he has an easy early-season schedule.
