Fantasy Football: 8 Late-Round Lottery Tickets for 2017
If Marlon Mack were to carve out a role in the Indianapolis Colts' offense, his touchdown potential would be astronomical. Which other players have the upside we need as late-round fantasy football selections?

Austin Hooper, TE, Atlanta Falcons

Average Draft Position: 13.12 (TE20)

Again, touchdowns are king, for both all tight ends and for potential lottery tickets. No team had more offensive scores last year than the Atlanta Falcons, putting Austin Hooper in position to beast out.

Hooper figures to inherit the top spot with Jacob Tamme not being re-signed in the offseason. And if he fully steps into Tamme's role, that's a major boon for his fantasy value.

Even though Tamme played just seven full games before going down with a season-ending injury, he managed to garner 11 red-zone targets. That was good for third on the team and two ahead of what Julio Jones had for the entire season. Obviously, things won't translate that nicely, but there are high-leverage targets to be had if you're a tight end in Atlanta.

Hooper had six targets in the Super Bowl, converting one of them into a touchdown. If they can trust him on that stage, they can do so in the regular season, as well. The cost on Hooper is almost non-existent, so the downside if things don't work out is pretty minimal. The upside, though, if he does wind up carving out a role, is tremendous.
