5 Fantasy Football Splits That Matter for Week 2

Drew Brees' Recent Home Splits

How the New Orleans Saints perform on the road was touched on here prior to Week 1. But with Drew Brees and company heading back to the Superdome to face the New England Patriots that has the highest over/under on the slate, it only makes sense to show the signal-caller's weekly averages at home from the past two seasons, via the RotoViz Game Splits App.

Category Home Away
Games 16 16
Passing Yards 351.6 296.7
Yards Per Attempt 8.6 7.02
Touchdowns 2.69 1.69
Fantasy Points 31.06 21.44

It goes without saying that New England's defense isn't the Minnesota Vikings. Even if quarterback Alex Smith hadn't scorched the Patriots for 0.51 Passing NEP per drop back in Week 1 (second-highest among quarterbacks with 30-plus drop backs), they weren't fresh off a season in which the defense finished third in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play (0.00) -- much like Minnesota's.

Historical home performance along with that 56-point over/under are both terrific signs that Brees will get himself back on track this weekend.
