The small sample sizes we have to draw on from Week 1 can be both a blessing and a curse.
After only one week of action, it can be tough to identify which performances were simply an anomaly versus which ones were the beginning of a trend. The flip side of this, though, is that volume stats (targets, carries, snaps) are significantly more consistent on a week-to-week basis than production stats (yards, touchdowns, fantasy points).
With daily fantasy pricing weighing production heavily, and barely (if at all) accounting for volume, spotting players who saw big volume but were on the wrong side of variance with their production can find us some serious value. There are also some spots where salaries are slow to move despite strong Week 1 performances that combined volume and production, leaving guys significantly underpriced.
Let's get right into it and look at the best bargain-bin options on FanDuel in Week 2.
