Fantasy Football: 4 Things We Learned From Week 2
Todd Gurley had an increased role in the passing game last season, and that has carried over to 2017. What else did we learn in Week 2?

Chris Carson Is Your Running Back, Seattle

The Seattle Seahawks' backfield situation has cleared up a bit, and it is Chris Carson who has emerged victorious.

The jury was still out coming into Week 2, with Thomas Rawls returning from his Week 1 injury, but Carson's display and Rawls' lack of one has now made clear that Carson is the back to own for fantasy purposes.

It helped that Eddie Lacy was a healthy scratch. It appears that the Seahawks have seen enough of their offseason addition and are moving on to the future.

Carson out-snapped Rawls significantly, logging 50 offensive snaps to Rawls' meager 16. The 'Hawks trusted Carson enough to give him a whopping 20 carries in their surprisingly close matchup with the San Francisco 49ers; only four other running backs had as many carries this weekend.

Carson has been the most effective back on the team, and while he has been running behind a turnstile masquerading as an offensive line, he has been able to amass a solid 5.1 yards per attempt. If Carson was not already picked up in your leagues last week, he's a high-priority waiver target this week and someone to target in trades.
