They may have moved to 0-3 with their loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, but the Cincinnati Bengals showed us that they aren't dead yet when it comes to producing for your fantasy teams.
After exceedingly poor offensive performances in which the team scored no touchdowns through the first two weeks of the season, the Bengals fired their offensive coordinator in hope of turning things around. The 24 points the team scored in Week 3 was more than double what they had scored in their previous two games combined.
It was welcome news for those who drafted A.J. Green. Cincy's top wideout ended up finding the end zone for the first time this season while amassing 111 yards on 10 receptions.
The coaching change was also a boon to Joe Mixon, whose 18 carries and 3 receptions dominated the team's running back opportunities. Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard still combined for 27 offensive snaps, somewhat limiting Mixon's upside, but Mixon should continue to see similar workloads going forward.
The Bengals can still produce for fantasy football purposes, and they'll have plenty more opportunities to showcase their offensive capabilities in positive matchups with the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns in their next two games.
