Ever since Corey Coleman went down with a broken hand in Week 2, Ricardo Louis has vaulted to the top of the Cleveland Browns' wide receiver pecking order, even if their depth chart doesn't say so.
In Weeks 3 through 5, Louis has been on the field for an average of 57 snaps per game, nearly 80% of the offense's plays. During that span, Louis has racked up 23 targets, the most on the team. After the Browns switched to quarterback Kevin Hogan in Week 5 -- who will be starting in Week 6 -- Louis saw 5 targets, a 26.3% share of Hogan's attempts against the New York Jets. Louis' time with the second unit has led to a strong rapport with Hogan -- he's been the quarterback's most frequently targeted receiver (9) in 2017.
The Browns already own the 6th-highest pass-to-run ratio in the NFL this season, at 64.3%. With his squad likely chasing points as 10-point underdogs to the Houston Texans, Louis is poised to lead the way in a pass-heavy attack.
