NFL
Fantasy Football: 4 Unexpectedly Great Week 6 Performances

Evan Engram, TE, New York Giants

NFL.com Start Percentage: 22%

Week 6 Fantasy Points: 14.2

Evan Engram was the second-best fantasy tight end (standard scoring) in Week 6, turning seven targets into 5 receptions, 82 yards, and 1 touchdown.

That Engram was useful in Week 6 wasn't entirely surprising. The Broncos have a good defense overall but fare poorly against fantasy tight ends. On top of that, the Giants were without Odell Beckham and Brandon Marshall, so someone had to catch passes. The good news, if you're looking for a tight end, is that Engram should continue to be the Giants' most-targeted player. Beckham and Marshall are gone for the year, and the rest of the Giants wide receiver corps is unproven.

What should you expect going forward? Our rest-of-season projections peg Engram as the 11th-best tight end, making him a starter in 12-team standard leagues.
