7 Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 7

Blake Bortles, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars

Starting Blake Bortles is never anyone's first choice for a streamer. But with the matchup the Jacksonville Jaguars have on Sunday, look no further for a better option in Week 7.

The Jags face arguably the NFL's worst defense in the Indianapolis Colts this weekend. Indy ranks in the bottom three in the league in a few key defensive categories, most notably points (32.5) allowed, passing yards (295.8) allowed, and total yards (410.0) allowed per game. Of the 6 quarterbacks the Colts have faced this season, only rookie DeShone Kizer failed to get to 295 passing yards. In Week 5, Indy gave up 353 passing yards to Brian Hoyer, the now-backup quarterback for the 0-6 San Francisco 49ers. All in all, opposing quarterbacks are averaging 19.7 fantasy points per game against the Colts in standard scoring, fourth-most in the NFL.

Despite the plush matchup, some will worry about Bortles' propensity for turnovers. In reality, the fourth-year signal caller is on pace for a career-low in interceptions. Plus, the Colts haven't been exactly ballhawks this year. Minus the win over the Cleveland Browns, Indy has forced just four turnovers (4 interceptions, 0 fumbles) from quarterbacks in their other 5 games.
