7 Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 7

Josh Doctson, WR, Washington Redskins

For those in desperate need of a boom-or-bust play in Week 7, Josh Doctson and his matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night fit the bill.

The Eagles allow 274.0 passing yards per game, fourth-most in the NFL. Opposing wide receivers, more specifically, have found success against the Philly secondary, averaging 24.5 fantasy points per game, good for sixth-most in the league. With the Eagles 4.5-point home favorites over the Washington Redskins, a heavy passing attack may be in order for Washington.

Earlier this week, Washington head coach Jay Gruden said the team would "actively expand" the 2016 first-round pick's role in the offense, recognizing Doctson has been underutilized. He has played in only 37% of the available snaps this season. Still, one person who hasn't overlooked Doctson is Kirk Cousins. Cousins has targeted Doctson in the red zone at least once in each of the last three games, with Doctson hauling in 2 touchdowns.
