7 Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 7

Robert Woods, WR, Los Angeles Rams

Yahoo! Ownership: 30%

Forget Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods has been the best former Buffalo Bills wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams this season. He leads all Rams receivers this season in snaps (315), targets (37), catches (22), and yards (322).

Over the last two weeks, Woods has picked up the pace, with 10 receptions on 15 targets for 136 yards against two of the top-three passing defenses in the NFL, according to our metrics. This Sunday, he gets to show what he can do against a team on the other end of the spectrum, the Arizona Cardinals.

Arizona comes in allowing 250.0 passing yards per game, and having given up 13 passing touchdowns this season. Only the Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots have allowed more. Opposing wideouts have been the biggest beneficiary, scoring 26.8 fantasy points per game, fourth-most in the league. Overall, our defensive metrics have them as the seventh-worst passing defense, and that's with All-Pro cornerback Patrick Peterson playing, who has been nursing a quadriceps injury all week.
