Yahoo Ownership Percentage: 13%
D'Onta Foreman has been a frustrating player to own this year, which definitely helps explain his low ownership percentage. Each time Lamar Miller appears to falter, he recovers in the next game. Each time Foreman flashes, Miller shines right back.
So why recommend Foreman now? Despite the fact the he is clearly the second back in the Texans' rotation, Foreman is still commanding carries -- he's received double-digit carries in three of his six games this season.
That workload is just one injury away from increasing substantially, and the player standing in his way is at quite a high risk of injury. Foreman is a weak RB3/Flex play right now, but if anything happens to Miller,he'd immediately become the back to own in Houston.
The Texans have already called the second-most run plays in the NFL, so if the running back workload were to be consolidated into one player, that player would be extremely valuable. If you can afford to wait a couple weeks, add Foreman before it's too late.
