Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington saw nearly identical workloads after Marshawn Lynch made an early exit in Week 7, each getting 9 carries and 4 targets, while Richard out-snapped Washington, 26 to 25.
Lynch will be serving a one-game suspension this week as the Oakland Raiders take on the Buffalo Bills, and both of his backups stand to see increased workloads.
Richard is the more appealing of the two, though, with a slight edge in both workload and a sizable edge in efficiency. He is averaging 5.0 carries and 2.1 targets per game compared to 3.8 carries and 2.8 targets for Washington. And Richard is averaging 33.4 fantasy points per 100 snaps, compared to Washington's 23.1.
