With the NFL season now at the midway point, with just one game left in Week 8, fantasy teams should be taking stock of exactly where they stand with the fake playoffs quickly approaching. Is it time to stash upside plays, or do you still need a steady veteran to stadilize your roster through injuries and byes?
Bye weeks continue through Week 11, so you may still need to roster players who offer immediate value to your roster, but it's certainly time to start thinking about high-upside dart throws who can take your roster from good to great as the playoffs approach. That said, if your team is still fighting to stay above .500, your approach to waivers will likely be different, with a focus on players who can help you right now.
Week 8 was (thankfully) relatively injury free in the fantasy realm, so there doesn't seem to be a must-add player out there whose situation drastically changed this past week. But there are certainly valuable players available to add to the end of your bench.
Every year we see players emerge late and push fantasy teams toward postseason glory. So who might some of those players be in 2017?
