DraftKings Price: $3,800
If you can stomach using a player who's played less than 40% of his team's snaps last week, read on. If not, feel free to skip to the next slide.
The New York Giants' running situation is a mess. Nobody knows who will get the touches on a weekly basis. Darkwa has received the most touches in each of the past two weeks, but it was Wayne Gallman in the two before that, and, frankly, I think Shane Vereen has been criminally underutilized this season.
That said, there is a lot to like about the matchup. The Rams have given up 29.26 DraftKings points per game to opposing backs, second only to the San Francisco 49ers. They've already allowed five opposing rushers to score at least 22 points in a game this season. The Rams are only favored by 3.5, which means that the run game should be viable for most of the day.
We project Darkwa to provide the 12th-best return on value of all running backs this week. He's for use only in tournaments, preferably for ones in which you enter multiple lineups.
Note: if Paul Perkins is able to return, then all of these words are moot.
