Through seven games, Robert Woods is the Los Angeles Rams' leading receiver. Honestly not the sexiest role in the league for fantasy purposes, but one that carries a high floor. The fifth-year wideout leads the team in virtually all pass-catching categories: targets (44), receptions (27), and yards (381). Woods has been on the field for a team-high 86.6% of snaps, cementing his status as the Rams' top receiving option, even with the higher profile Sammy Watkins in the mix.
The last three games, Woods has been a rock, averaging 7.3 targets, 5.0 catches, and 65.0 yards per game. And that was with two games against two of the toughest passing defenses in the league -- the Seattle Seahawks and Jacksonville Jaguars. This Sunday, the Rams have a much more enviable task against an undermanned New York Giants passing defense.
The G-men have allowed the fifth-most passing yards per game and will be missing their top defensive back with Janoris Jenkins suspended indefinitely.
