The New England D/ST has been one we've attacked for most of the season, but they might be starting to turn things around. Over their last four games, the Patriots have held opposing offenses to 17 or fewer points, and they're coming off a bye week with extra time to prepare for their next opponent, the reeling Denver Broncos
The Broncos have now lost 5 of their last 6 games, giving Brock Osweiler a shot over a struggling Trevor Siemian against the Philadelphia Eagles this weekend, which worked out about as well as you would imagine. Osweiler was held to 208 yards and 1 touchdown, getting sacked 3 times, while throwing 2 interceptions. Denver managed just 9 points through three quarters, with their lone offensive touchdown coming in garbage time.
There's a possibility that Paxton Lynch will start against the Patriots, but considering he's been out all year with a shoulder injury and has played in just three NFL games, it might not be much of an upgrade. The Pats don't get as much pressure as we normally like from a defense, and they'll also be on the road, but they're a very viable streaming option against an offense that's trending in the wrong direction.
