After seeing at least five targets in four straight games, Ed Dickson saw just two last week. That was largely due to an ultra-conservative gameplan by Carolina -- which featured just 24 pass attempts to 38 rushing attempts -- and a positive gamescript.
Dickson should see more looks this week as the Panthers take on a Miami defense that has allowed the highest catch rate (77.9%) to opposing tight ends of any team in the league. They allowed Jared Cook to pile up 126 yards against them last week, and that came on the heels of three straight games of allowing a touchdown to a tight end.
Like the other streaming options this week, Dickson is a dicey play. This matchup provides him with the upside to be a startable option, though.
