5 NFL Stats to Know Through Week 10

Michael Thomas Has a 37.66% Target Share Over His Past 3 Games

Over the past three games, Michael Thomas has seen his target share rise by 9.53% compared to his season average, resulting in him narrowly overtaking DeAndre Hopkins (37.61%) for the highest target percentage of any player over that span.

Thomas is now averaging 9.2 targets per game, which is 1.1 more than his rookie campaign. His reception and receiving yard averages are very close to what he did last season, but like Julio Jones, he has seen a decline in his touchdown pace.

Year Receptions Yards Touchdowns
2017 6.6 73.6 0.2
2016 6.1 75.8 0.6

He actually has not found the end zone since Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins, but will have a great opportunity to end that drought in Week 11 against the Washington Redskins. They have given up at least one touchdown to an opposing wide receiver in each of their past five games, including allowing three different wide receivers to score in their last game.
