10 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets Heading Into Week 12

Devontae Booker, RB, Denver Broncos

Yahoo Ownership Percentage: 7%

Watch out, C.J. Anderson. The former University of California player was leapfrogged this week, as Devontae Booker led the Denver Broncos' rushing attack. Booker out-touched Anderson 19-15 and saw six targets to Anderson's three.

It's usually tough to advocate picking a player up after an anomalous game like this; I am not, for instance, advocating for the addition of tight end Ricky Seals-Jones after his two-touchdown game despite his awesome name. However, Booker has shown promise before; from Week 7 to the end of last season, he scored 8.8 standard points or more on six occasions.

While nobody can predict how touches will play out for the rest of the season, it wouldn't be a shock to see head coach Vance Joseph make a change at running back to try and spark the offense after six straight losses. At the very least, Booker looks like he could be sharing the lead role with Anderson.

His role may be a bit murky, but he's likely to be seeing more touches than the just-mentioned Corey Clement. He's worth an add if you are in need of an RB3 or Flex player.
