NFL
Fantasy Football: 4 Unexpectedly Great Week 11 Performances

Ricky Seals-Jones, TE, Arizona Cardinals

Ricky Seals-Jones produced 54 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 3 receptions to finish as this week's top tight end. Just like nobody expected.

I mean seriously, nobody expected. Not only was he started in zero leagues, his numberFire player page just says "Sorry, there is no recent Ricky Seals-Jones player news." If there's one thing you can count on every week, it's that a random tight end will have a big game. But this, this is truly remarkable.

As a wide receiver in college, Seals-Jones caught 123 passes, but never surpassed 600 yards receiving in a single season. The Cardinals took a chance on him as an undrafted free agent, and in his first game with meaningful playing time, he made a big impression. It's a neat story, but he can safely be left on waivers in single-season fantasy leagues. Arizona is just 25th in pass targets to tight ends, and the quarterback combination of Drew Stanton and Blaine Gabbert doesn't instill much confidence going forward.
