Rob Gronkowski, TE, New England Patriots
5 Receptions, 82 Yards, 8 Targets, 2 Touchdowns
Performance Score: 85
After being held to just one touchdown over his past four games, New England Patriots star tight end Rob Gronkowski finally busted out on Sunday for two scores against and underwhelming Miami Dolphins defense. He saw 8 targets on the day and turned them into 5 receptions for 82 yards with those 2 touchdowns.
That was good for a Performance Score of 85, tops at the tight end position for Week 12. He finished with a Reception NEP of 10.29 and just his second multi-touchdown game of 2017. He now has seven touchdowns on the year, trailing only Jimmy Graham (eight).
With Tom Brady continuing to show zero signs of age, Gronkowski is once again one of the elite talents at his position when healthy, especially as a red-zone weapon. In addition to his ability to put the ball in the paint, his 702 receiving yards trails only Zach Ertz, and he's on pace to post his fourth career 1,000-yard season.
