Fantasy Football: 4 Unexpectedly Great Week 12 Performances

Robby Anderson, WR, New York Jets

NFL.com Start Percentage: 26.1%
Week 12 Fantasy Points: 26.6

Robby Anderson finished as the WR3 this week (NFL.com scoring) on the strength of 6 catches, 146 yards, and a pair of touchdowns.

Newsflash: Robby Anderson is a top-10 fantasy wide receiver in standard scoring leagues. He's produced five games with at least 75 yards receiving, and he has totaled 7 touchdowns in 11 games. He's also got a five-game touchdown streak.

So why isn't he being started by more of his owners?

Perhaps it's because the Jets aren't a good team, or because Anderson doesn't have an impressive resume prior to this season. The fact is -- Anderson has been super productive this season. For Week 13, he faces off against our 24th-ranked pass defense, and we see him as a top-20 option at the position. There are reasons to think he'll come back to earth, but the matchup and recent performance argue for using him.
