With Doug Martin out due to a concussion, many assumed Jacquizz Rodgers would re-assume lead back responsibilities like he did earlier in the season. Instead, it was Peyton Barber that took control of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers backfield.
Coming off a 2-touchdown game in Week 12, Barber rushed 23 times for 102 yards, adding another 4 catches for 41 yards Sunday. He looked impressive in all facets and, given the inefficiency of Martin, should continue to see work even if Martin can play this week. If he isn't able to suit up, Barber should be locked into another monster workload, putting him on the RB2 map yet again in a strong matchup against the Detroit Lions.
