Stephen Anderson finds himself fantasy relevant simply by virtue of being the last man standing for the Houston Texans. Ryan Griffin is already on the I.R. and C.J. Fiedorowicz suffered another concussion last week. (He already missed the majority of the year due to concussions, so it wouldn't be surprising to see the Texans shut him down.) Thus, Anderson should lead Houston's depleted tight end group this week.
The athletic young tight end made the most of his opportunities last week, catching 5 of 12 targets for 79 yards and a touchdown. He'll look to build off of that performance against a San Francisco 49ers team ranked 30th against the pass according to our metrics. They have fairly strong numbers against tight ends this season, but have allowed 6 touchdowns to opposing tight ends over the past six weeks. If in need of help in deep leagues, Anderson is a fine target.
