Rob Gronkowski is suspended Sunday for his late hit on Tre'Davious White, which only causes PTSD flashbacks of the time he was out in Week 5 and both Dwayne Allen and Jacob Hollister combined for one target.
In that game, it was actually Danny Amendola who was treated as the tight end, recording 8 catches for 77 yards from the slot. It's no coincidence he played a season-high 74.32% of offensive snaps that week, which was 25 percentage points more than his season average (49.11%).
If Amendola acts as the tight end again, he should produce against a Miami Dolphins defense that has allowed the fifth-highest percentage of fantasy points (18%) to that position. Additionally, it's worth noting that Chris Hogan, who's expected to return this week, recorded a team-high 36.6% target share without Gronkowski in Week 5.
